Rosette Sweater & Peach Skirt

Statement Bib Necklace

I love fabric made necklaces as they feel a lot less heavy than metal made ones. Suspecting that peach/nude/blush/flesh etc will be spring '10 colours I created this one yesterday.

If I won the lottery: Dress with large pockets

I found this dress on the internet and while I like all the pieces on Makool Loves You this one is my favorite. And yes, I actually do put stuff like money in decorative pockets on dresses and skirts

Etsy finding: Ruffle Coat

I just found this amazing coat in pretty-awesome. It's 95 USD and thereby a bit above my current budget *erhm* but I'm sure it won't take long until this fashion gem finds a loving new owner. What I love most about it? Even though it has these sweet ruffles the way they sit on the coat doesn't make it overly cuty-cute. Note the ruffles on the sleeves and the form of the collar - word that comes to my head: "Spacetulip"

Queen B

Like oh so many others I adore Blair Waldorf's style in "Gossip Girl". Here are some of my favorite Blair-outfits:

You can also check out Edith&Ella for their advice on how to dress Blair-wise

Folk Beauty

Ever since a bought a folk-style skirt on sale a year ago I'm totally obsessed with fashion in Folk-Style. But the colours have to be pretty strong and bold, no pastel, as this make it look to cutie-innocent, and you end up *really* looking like a girl from Smallville when in fact you're aiming at looking like a Folk-Queen

Velvet

Hottest fabric this a/w season? Velvet! Its' classy, feminine and strong at the same time - which makes velvet *the* Folk-Queen fabric!
Actually, velvet strongly reminds me of persian cats, the short haired ones that is.I love cotton velvet skirts in blue and purple and I adore the crushed velvet dresses in burned red showed below!

I found a tutorial on how to make ruffles

I found this wonderful tutorial on how to make a ruffle neckline the other day on cucumbersome. I haven't tried it yet, but I think it sounds easy enough and I definitly use it to update my wardrobe Folk-Queen-like. Check it out here: Ruffles-Tutorial
